A year after fire
2021
On September 7, 2020, the Babb Road wildfire destroyed 80% of homes in Malden, WA, displacing hundreds during the Covid pandemic. One year later, residents and recovery workers continued to rebuild their lives from the ground up.

Because of scheduling conflicts, I reported, filmed and photographed this story separately from our text reporter Rebecca Moss. My photographs and short documentary accompanied her text story in print and online. Click here for the full story package
